Bettersoft consultores’s main goal is the development of solutions for higher education institutions, it has been on the market for 20 years already. Our platforms U+ and U+Scorecards are used by over 50 education institutions around Chile, Peru and Ecuador and we have been Microsoft Partners for almost 15 years. As part of our strategy to deliver greater value to our clients, is that we have embraced a project to integrate and adequate our U+ platform to Office 365 and Azure. Together with Solvex Dominicana we were able to make this integration succesfully, not only with Office 365 and Azure, we also got an extra step achieved by accomplishing the required synergy between our System, Moodle+ solution and Moodle(LMS) itself. We have made contact with Solvex Dominicana at GEPS 2016 and we firmly believe in Partner to partner alliances (P2P) promoted by Microsoft, and hope to continue in collaboration with Solvex Dominicana in other countries.

By using O365 Moodle Plus developed by Solvex Dominicana we integrated Office 365 and Windows Azure technologies into our virtual learning environment, Moodle. This allows students to enjoy a whole virtual learning environment and a higuer quality. Solvex Dominicans team assisted us throughout the project, from the initial settings and to moving Moodle from on premises to Windows Azure. With this we began to enjoy the benefits of scalability and performance offered by Microsoft Cloud solutions. Then the complement that integrates Office 365 authentication with Moodle was implemented and with this we made possible for our students to be more efficient with flexible and secure tools that enable collaboration, which can be used from any place or device. Thanks to Microsoft Azure and Solvex Dominicana’s specialized services we were able to implement technologies that help us be more effective in the processes of our university.
Solvex did an extraordinary and excellent job helping us with the most complicated processes during our Office365 and Azure migration projects. As organization, we have a very particular and complex hybrid infrastructure that creates challenges every day, so when we integrated it to Office365 the sum of all our fears came true. Solvex faced it with a positive and proactive attitude, and step by step, came out with flying colors. They are the DR’s partners Team Six. Additionally we got interested on an application developed by Solvex, AD Manager, this application will enable us to manage different Office 365 domains and OU on the same subscription, but enabling separate administration for each domain/OU. There’s no way to administer a multisite Office365 infrastructure without this application, has all the missing features in the Office365 administration portal.
The Instituto Global a Distancia IGED, is an educational institution specialized in distance learning, as a fledgling institution we did not have the resources or infrastructure to carry out our expansion program of specialized courses in our Virtual Classroom called 10K Por la Educacion, where the institute aims to provide 10,000 scholarships to college students and Higher Education. Next to Solvex Dominicana, we were able to integrate technologies like Office 365, Microsoft Azure and our virtual environment based on Moodle. Solvex Dominicana assisted us on the project with the initial set up for using Moodle on Azure and using the Moodle+ component for Office 365 we seek to increase collaboration of our students in the virtual classroom leveraging Office 365 channels.
